What some of our guests have said about us…

After 13 years we have had some wonderful reviews from our guests; some of which appear on TripAdvisor, mumsnet.com and realholiday reviews, I have decided to post a few here.  It would, of course, be easy to invent these (and I have always taken a slightly jaundiced view of reviews posted by the owners!) but I promise these are all real.

“I have holidayed with 360 Sun & Ski many times with my twin boys, and have found everything about the experience to be faultless. Nick cooks magnificently and is the perfect host, and his wife Caroline is the perfect hostess. Nothing is too much trouble, and families are all made to feel really welcome. The location is perfect – just 9 hours motorway drive from Calais, or 45 mins from Geneva Airport, and the Grand Massif ski area is fab with slopes for all levels. Perfect for families with young/growing kids who are looking for affordable, friendly and fun skiing!”   Andrew C – Guildford  on Linkedin

“I have used 360 Sun and Ski for many years and the experience that they provide has always been well beyond what one would expect, particularly considering the reasonable price. Guests are treated as friends of the family and the service extended ranges from arranging equipment hire and lift passes to collecting children from ski-school and keeping them fed and entertained until the return of the parents. In addition, for us, they have sorted out medical emergencies (that fortunately turned out not to be), dropping children off at ski-school (who didn’t want to go to ski-school until Caroline’s reassurance was given), and even dropping idle adults off to the slope, when the same reassurance was needed. Food is always plentiful and incredibly tasty, drink is free-flowing and the mix of guests always seem to gel (maybe there’s a link there to the free-flowing drink – whatever it is, it works). I would say that if there had to be a down-side, it is that they are so popular. I would recommend Nick and Caroline to beginners through to seasoned skiers/boarders with or without children.”   Mary W Croydon on LinkedIn

“Nick has combined his passion for France, ski-ing, and cooking to deliver a unique experience for others to enjoy. Having been a colleague of Nick’s in a previous life I know that he commits 110% to his work and this is readily demonstrated by the quality of the accomodation and meals that he produces every evening. My children feel very much at home on a 360 Sun and Ski holiday which speaks volumes about Nick’s hospitality.”  Margot G – Amersham  on LinkedIn

“I have visited Chalet La Ruche nine times now; it’s always great to return. Les Carroz is a charming family resort and Nick and Caroline superlative hosts. Their whole approach to business is extremely child-friendly and no detail however small, is ever overlooked. Over the years I have experienced and enjoyed Nick’s progression from enthusiastic cook to Cordon Bleu Chef. I’ll be back next year as always and I always seem to bring a few more fans with me. I’d heartily recommend 360 Sun and Ski to anyone”   Alan D – Marlowe  on LinkedIn

Just wanted to send a huge thank you to you and Nick for making this year’s ski holiday the best we have ever had… we really had the most wonderful time. Everyone was skiing better than ever and we really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was superb and a special thank you to Nick for ticking all the boxes for the girls. They had plenty to eat everyday and all said how much they’d enjoyed Nick’s cooking. We loved all of his meals as usual!!  Sian I – Cornwall – via e-mail

Nick and Caroline are a British couple with two daughters who have been running this chalet for families for eight years. They offer a very friendly and personalised service and the food is fabulous! Each family gets 2 adjoining bedrooms with ensuite, not luxurious but totally serviceable. They can provide cots, monitors, high chairs etc etc They do child care in a very flexible way and will take kids to ski school and pick them up for you.The resort links into Flaine so there is plenty of good skiing and carroz is a nice village with its own life – not a multistorey apartment block area like val thorens! It is a short journey from Geneva airport or an 8 hour drive from Calais.  Mumsnet Review

Family skiing holidays can be an expensive nightmare – but this was a real find. 360 SunandSki actually specialise in catering for families, and not only that, only the adults pay. The accomodation was excellent – a well appointed chalet not far from the main lifts. Les Carroz is a really sweet french village, full of swiss style wooden chalets, yet in the same ski domain as Flaine, which although it has great skiing is a concrete jungle of high-rise appartments! The proprietor, Nick, is also a fantastic cook – so great food….. He leaves a fresh cake every day for tea. He prepares a great kids meal around 5 or 6pm and then does a 3 or 4 course spectacular for the adults in the evening. We shared with another family and had the best skiing holiday in years – and the children can’t wait for the next one.   Realholidayreports

Not for the first time my family and I booked to go with 360sun&ski over the half term break. This year we went with another family with younger children. The facilities were as ever fabulous! Not only are Nick (owner and chef) and Caroline (owner and boss!) a really lovely couple, but also nothing, and I mean nothing is too much trouble for them. In no particular order, Nick’s food is fab – adults eat a delcious 4 course meal at 8pm every night while the youngsters are catered for at 6, making meal times relaxed and fun for both! Food for kids is really delicious and not a ready meal in sight! The accommodation is very comfortable. Nick andCaroline sort all the lessons/lift passes/ski hire etc for us. Even take us to and from the lifts if we want. And for the non skiing youngsters there’s a nanny who plays with and looks after the kids making it so relaxing for the the adults! If you are planning to ski en famille, whether beginners or regulars, I have NO hesitation in recommending 360! Oh, and Kids go free, so it’s amazing value too. Only 9 hours motorway door to door (almost) from Calais, or 40 mins for Geneva airport and really great skiing, even when snow is scarce (they have some good machines in Les Carroz and neighbouring Flaine)   Realholidayreports
